Warm Me Up, Baby !

One topic of makeup that i love almost as much as highlighters are bronzers ! It's hands down one of my favorite parts of the makeup application and truly gives the face life ! All of these are BRONZERS not contour powders, therefore they're going to be warm toned not ashy/cool toned. Bronzers warm up the skin and brings life, contour powders create the illusion of shadows and make certain features recede away from the eye. You obvs don't want to put contour powders all over your face, you will look dirty, grey, and like you're ready to be put in a casket, not a look most people wanna go for. Bronzer will go over the majority of the face and then you come in with the contour shades and put them in small, designated areas of the face to create those shadows ! Basically, all of these are going to look "orangey" as most people say, but they won't make you look oompa loompa, believe it or not.

The Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel is one i can't ever go without. I use it everyday without fail.. it is so beautiful ! A bit pricey, yes but 100% worth it ! I've had mine for months now and it barely looks used, a little goes a long way ! I apply this under my powder bronzers to give it a good base to start with. On days that i'm not going to be out long i don't put a powder over it and it looks so amazingly beachy bronzed, and glowy. It smells amazing as well.. always a bonus !

The Hourglass bronzer is relatively new, and there is nothing like it ! One of the things that Hourglass is known for is their ambient lighting collection (which i am utterly obsessed with) What makes it so special is it has finely milled light reflecting powders that help smooth the appearance of your skin, pores and help bring out your best features. It has a radiant finish, perfect for that summer glow ! The design of the powder is to die for ! So luxurious and all around a gorgeous product !

The Make Up Forever bronzer is also slowly but surely becoming one of my favorites. The finish is so natural and truly looks like skin. It is a gel powder which is why it never looks powdery or cakey. It's also waterproof so if you're heading to the water park or beach and want a little color, this guy has you covered ! I have it in color 25l which is intended for more medium skin tones, but i even use it when i'm not self tanned and it works perfectly fine ! The packaging is super cute and i love the design of the powder inside the compact.

Bobbi Brown's matte bronzer does wonders for me. I've had this one for over a year and love it to bits just as, if not more than when i first got it. As you can tell for having it over a year and using it pretty regularly there's still a lot left. It is amazing for correcting the color of foundations and even tho it's matte it never leaves you looking dull and powdery ! It lasts ALL DAY.. doesn't budge or move and it's easy to blend ! Sometimes i'll use it on my chest/neck if i need to darken my skin to match my foundation, and even then it won't come off until i use a cleansing wipe. In my opinion these are so underrated and deserve so much more attention than they get. The color selection is wonderful as well.. they have light to deep colors and different undertones. There's one for every person !
