Hi hey hello.. first of all can we just take a minute to appreciate the fact that I'm actually on time with this month's favorites *pats self on back* This month I tried quite a few new things and I'm really excited to tell you guys about the new goodies I've been loving !
I've seen this on Instagram over the past few months and decided to give it a go. I've heard really good or really bad things.. no one seemed to give it an average rating. I've never used a full coverage foundation, I've always used my Nars Sheer Glow (which I still love so much) and any problem areas I'd put concealer. This is really thick but I like to mix it with the Becca Moonstone Liquid Skin Profector. It gives the most gorgeous finish. A little goes such a long way and covers everything ! In pictures it makes you look airbrushed. Supppper excited I decided to try it. I only wear it for special occasions because it's too much coverage for day to day wear for me personally.
I use this so many different ways. I'll wear it alone before I put on my foundation, mix it with my foundation, after my foundation is on I'll use it to highlight.. the possibilities are endless really. It's a light golden shade so I love that it's not too cool toned. Sometimes I'll layer it with another highlighter and it makes it so BAM in your face which is just what I need sometimes. TYSM
I've heard people rave over this stuff and my sweet friend Rachel that I used to work with at Sephora was telling me about it. She had gotten the big bottle and let me have her travel size so I could try it out before I bought the big bottle. I have mixed feelings about it but I do love it. I don't care to use it under my makeup because I feel as if it gets covered up with makeup and you can't even see the "dewy-ness" under it all. But I LOVE it for days when I'm just putting on a tinted moisturizer and that's all. (I actually hardly wear makeup during the week so for most days this is a go to product) It gives your skin the most gorgeous radiant glow. It makes your skin look so soft and radiant. I get a compliment on my skin every time I wear this with my Laura Mercier Radiant Tinted Moisturizer.
These are her new shadows that came out not too long ago. I didn't order all of them but the ones that caught my eye. I have been living for all of these ! Enchanted Forest (dark green) is such a good shade for fall and I either mix it in with the crease or use it all over the lid. Morocco (orange) is a shade I use everyday that I wear makeup. I almost didn't get it because I would use my Stila Mind Palette in the shade Perception but I thought when I travel it would be convenient to have everything in one palette. But it warms up any eye look and makes blue eyes pop ! Cherry Cola (burgendy) looks really similar to Bitten just a bit darker/cooler toned. Americano (purplish brown) is probably my favorite because it's such a gorgeous color. I'll deepen any look up with popping this at the outer corner. This brand is one of my favorites because they're so cheap but so pigmented and blend with little effort. If you haven't checked them out before, please do !
There's not tons to say about these.. I just like how I can throw them on with whatever look I'm going for and it spices the whole outfit up with no effort. They're so cheap but haven't turned green yet and I was my hands a lot. Can't go wrong with everyday staple pieces from Forever, in my opinoin.
I love their liquid lip's because they're super matte but not extremely drying. And for $6 you can't go wrong ! They have so many to chose from which is a huge plus. I have quite a few and every time I wear one of them I get people that ask what I'm wearing.. ESP LAX ! Everyone loves a good dark lip for fall ! But I like that Chilly Chili is darker but you can also wear it on an everyday bases and not feel cray.
I've never ordered Mink Lashes until my friend Meghan told me about these guys. She raved about them for a good month until I decided to get them. At first I was a little unsure of them because the band it thicker than I'm used to but I kept working with them and love them now. They're so fluttery and soft ! I love how this style is wispy and spaced out. I'll definitely be purchasing new ones and different pairs soon ! This particular lash company has sales pretty regularly so you can get them half off the normal price of $35. You can use the mink lashes for up to 25-30 times.. which is insane because for other drugstore brands they're tapping out at 4-5 uses and the price of those lashes are around $4 per pair. You'll be getting a better run for your money with these guys for sure !
I've had this guy along with the Nirvana White for about 6 months and it's one of my everyday perfumes. You can either wear them together or alone. I tend to wear the White in the spring or summer because it's a bit fresher and lighter. The Black one is definitely a bit heavier so I like to wear it when it's a little colder outside. I tend to go for either really feminine fragrances or the complete opposite spectrum and wear more masculine fragrances. This and the Mont Blanc Legend are the ones I'll wear on the days I want something not as light/girly. It lasts all day and beyond that. The prices for these are really reasonable esp for a fragrance that is high end quality.
This is a part of their Holiday Collection and it was suppper hard to get my little paws on it. But I finally got it and I can say I'm super glad that I did. It is a very intense highlight and I'm not mad at it at all. It melts into the skin and gives the most stunning finish. I'll spritz my Mac Fix+ on the brush before I apply it when I want it even more intense and I'm positive you can spot me from Heaven with it on. If you're able to get this little guy please do yourself a favor and go get it ! You're welcome in advance.
